Literary translations
The foundations works with experienced translators of literature
(Reina Dokter, Roel Schuyt). Reina Dokter has published about twenty
translations from Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian and received the
Aleida Schot-award for her translations.
Reina Dokter and Nada Pinterić together translated Dutch poets
for Croatian literary magazines (Willem van Toorn, Anna Enquist,
Huub Beurskens, Elly de Waard, Stefan Hermans a.o.)
The foundation also cooperates as advisor and translator with Poetry
International and the Dunya Foundation in Rotterdam. She offers
advice to the Dutch Foundation for Literary Productions and Translations.
Nada Pinterić and Reina Dokter also translated three stage-plays
for theatregroups in Zagreb. Within the framework of a symposium
on childrens literature in 1997 they published a volume of short
stories under the title 'Never trust a dragon'.
