Learning Croation

De Eerste Steen organizes individual and group courses in the Croatian language. The teachers are college-taught and have several years of experience in teaching.

For the Croatian lessons the foundation uses the so-called 'natural approach'. Students read and listen to short, interesting texts and make themselves familiar with the basic vocabulary. The grammar is also acquired in that way.
Advanced students can improve their knowledge of the language. On the higher levels the contents of the lessons are depending on the objects and wishes of the students.

Advisor for the teaching method is drs. Ineke de Bakker, teacher of Dutch as a Second Language at the Amsterdam University.
